My name is Marc, and I live on the outskirts of Syracuse, NY. “It’s All About Trains” has been a dream of mine for a long time. Since a child, I've been building train layouts and visiting train shows. This past year, we visited a most amazing train layout in Hamburg, Germany, and I decided I could do something just as fantastic here in the United States. “It’s All About Trains” will be located in the Northeastern United States in an area with over 1 million people living within 60 miles and 30 million people living within a 250-mile radius--located only a few hours drive from the Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, and northern New Jersey area. “It’s All About Trains” will fascinate people of all generations, with the potential of creating the largest automated model railroad layout in North America (75,000 sq. ft.); and since it will be an ever-changing model, the patrons will be enticed to come back again for more. Also, the layout will be equipped with interaction stations for patrons to interact with the various layouts by activating animations of figurines, machines, cars, trains, season, days/nights, etc. By filling out this short survey, you are helping us find out if there is enough outside interest in our idea for us to pursue it.
